Morgan and Smith, Jr. were in the company of Gabourey Sidibe who won Best Lead Actress for Precious and Shonda Rimes, who won for Best Writing in Drama Series for Grey's Anatomy. German Soap Verbotene Liebe's Christian and Olli Set for U.S. Adaptation

According to The Hollywood Reporter, former HBO vice-president Sam Martin has secured the rights to the storyline revolving around a gay couple in Dusseldorf. Martin plans to Americanize Christian and Olli with a setting in Portland, Oregon. READ MORE

Dear John's Seyfried on ATWT Stint: "I Was So Bad They Had to Ship My Character Off"

In a joint interview for Backstage with her Dear John costar Channing Tatum, the subject of Amanda Seyfried's short-lived stint as Lucy on As The World Turns came up.
Seyfried: I'll be honest, I was pretty bad starting out. When I was 15, I was on "As the World Turns," and I was so bad they had to ship my character off.Back Stage: Are you sure it was because of you—it wasn't a story-line decision?
Seyfried: It was absolutely, without a doubt, because I was that bad. I was so uncomfortable. I had it in me, but if you aren't comfortable, you can't access your skill.
Now that's what I call self awareness!
Amanda Seyfried's Letters to Juliet and Dear John

Joe star Channing Tatum in what is sure to be another tear jerker by Nicholas Sparks, Dear John in February. The "letter" theme continues in May when Seyfried stars opposite of Eragon and Kings star Christopher Egan and Oscar winner Vanessa Redgrave in Letters to Juliet. Watch both trailers after the jump.
